1) Do not charge in the sun in hot weather, and do not charge immediately after driving. Summer is here. This is especially important. Remember not to charge the electric car in the hot sun, nor to expose the battery to the sun. In the same way, you should stay away from open flames and high-temperature heat sources both during normal times and when charging.
2) When an electric vehicle is found to indicate that the battery is too low during driving, it should be charged as soon as possible. The vulcanization process began after the battery was discharged, and obvious vulcanization appeared after 12 hours. Charging in time can remove non-serious vulcanization. If not charging in time, these vulcanized crystals will accumulate and gradually form coarse crystals. Therefore, in addition to daily charging, you must also pay attention to charging as soon as possible after use, and use lithium as much as possible. The battery pack is fully charged.
3) The lithium battery does not need to be activated by a special method, and the lithium battery will be naturally activated when the electric vehicle is driving. Lithium batteries have no memory effect, so there is no need to deliberately deep charge and discharge activation. Be sure to use a suitable lithium battery charger to charge, first plug the charger output plug into the battery charging socket, and then plug the charger plug into the mains socket, and observe the indicator light for charging judgment. If the charger is lost or damaged, please buy it from the corresponding dealer. Do not use lead-acid chargers or other forms of chargers for charging.
4) Generally, charge for about 1-2 hours after the charger indicator turns green to stop charging. Lithium batteries have no memory effect, and each charge is about 5-8 hours. The user estimates the time when using it and prohibits overcharging.
5) The lithium battery pack should be charged as much as possible to avoid recharging after the battery is under-voltage every time. This can greatly improve the battery life and make the battery in a shallow cycle state, so that the battery life will be prolonged.
6) Avoid high temperature charging. Do not charge in an environment where the temperature exceeds 40°. High temperature will cause the battery capacity to decline. Try to choose a cool and ventilated environment, too hot and humid environment is not conducive to the charging state, but also damage the battery and reduce the life of the charger.
In addition, the best ambient temperature for lithium battery charging is 25°C. At present, most chargers do not have an automatic control system that adapts to the ambient temperature. Most chargers are designed according to the ambient temperature of 25°C, so charging at 25°C is better.
7) If the electric vehicle is not used for a long time, the battery should be disconnected from the vehicle, and some power should be added to the battery at intervals to avoid self-discharge of the battery. Lithium batteries are not allowed to be stored without electricity. If lithium batteries are not suitable for a short period of time, please charge the battery to more than 50% for storage, and the battery must be recharged every 30 days.
8) When charging the battery, if the charger plug is constantly heating up, and the heating time is relatively long, it is necessary to check immediately whether the plug is short-circuited or the contact is poor, and the charger should be pulled out to check whether there is oxide on the plug. Such as rust, and then remove it immediately.
